Originally released in January 2006, Alan Jackson's PRECIOUS MEMORIES album was created as an ode to his mother who, throughout his career, consistently requested that Alan record a gospel album. So, Alan recorded PRECIOUS MEMORIES with 15 traditional gospel hymns, never anticipating that anyone, besides his mother, would be interested in the project.
